Currently I m using GP1600 batteries. They are 1600mAh batteries. I had tested the durability of the battery with my a70. It can last for about 100 pictures or even more coz it still working after i took the 100th pics. Every single pictures I took with all time flash turned on!

If you're talking AA Ni-MH cells, they're very cheap now, so don't worry about capacity, buy another few sets as spares. I carry a spare set of 4 for my Casio QV-5700, as I did for my Olympus C-3020Z, and only on holiday do I ever use the second set, in spite of shooting prolifically.

Good cheap sources are Maplin electronics shops (see their website), and market stalls. I got a set of 4 Uniross 1700mAh AA Ni-MH's with 2 "free" AAA Ni-MHs thrown in for 6ukpounds in Wrexham market (5 miles from England) a month or so ago, and they seem fine to me. The AAA ones have been heavily used every day in my tiny Sony radio.
