Ronald, what fantastic shots, and I agree, a nicely composed web site. Shows off the shots beautifully. If I didn't know you used a G3, I'd have considered a digital SLR - Canon, of course.

Which mode do you favor, or do you make the best use of everything.

Hi JanetKP,

Thanks for your kind reply!

I always shoot in the manual mode, but i 'borrow' the basic settings from one of the program-modes, depents what situation i 'm in. Then i modify these settings.

I saw your lovely yellow rose in another topic, Do you have also a website?

regards Ronald

Ronald, I do have a website but it's a commercial one where I sell my gardening CD.

I've used canon film camera's for years, but to my shame, I have not even tried manual mode on the G2. Shhh. Don't tell anyone.

Ronald,
Great website! I like your subject matter as well as your website. I downloaded the program that you are using. I would like to know if you have to pay to have it ' hosted ' I would like to have a site very similar to yours but don't know how to go about it.
Your advice willl be appreciated!

Ronald. Great shots, I love your composition. I am an SLR man and just got the G3 and love it. I have used it right now with the Camera settings to see how it responds and I cant do it manually much better. The only thing I found to adjust is contrast a +7, makes it pop.

I love your web site, only negative comment I can come up with is you do not give specs on your shots, and I would also like to know how you host it.

HI Philly,
Thanks, i work with my program 'My Photo Site' and it's possible to add exif information easily to the photos just have to do it....
i added a preview so vou can take a look how the exif-info is shown. just go with your mouse over the 'big photo and you will see it in a tip box'

http://www.myphotosite.nl/previews/exif/index.html

I am hosted bij a dutch company called 'Host Aces' soon there will be a possibility for everybody in this world to get hosted on this very fast server there.
Just take a look at the end of this month at http://www.myphotosite.nl

regards Ronald
