Each to his own. I like shooting with the LCD because I can use the grid to properly align my shots. Since I have the image stabilization turned on, I don't have any issue with camera shake.

For my next camera, I'd like to get one with a large electronic viewfinder, so I can get a much better view when I choose not to use the LCD. The A720 is not the camera for those who intend to use the OVF for most of their shots, in my opinion.

I guess thereisn't a dioptric adjustment?
