Sorry, Thought it was not a real issue. I don't have a S5 but I have a S3. I just wanted to post to the S5 users that there is a CHDK firmware for the S5.

A lot of S-5 folks have spent several frustrating hours figuring out that there are indeed two different versions of S-5 camera software, while attempting without sucess to install the CKDSK download.

I was just attempting to save a whole lot of frustration.

Looks like the S5IS CHDK is dependent on firmware version.

Could someone show me how to get the firmware version of the S5IS?

Thanks a lot.

Could someone please explain to me how to start the <alt> mode on the SD800? The PDF manual only refers to A-series, S2 and S3 IS.
