Default A60 video background noise

After having lots of fun with video mode, I noticed that in noisy environments, there is a funny background sound, sort of like waves washing up rapidly on a beach (best description I can think of). It is continuous throughout the length of the video. I know the mic quality is not impressive on these cams, but I wouldn't expect it to add in a rythmic noise.

Has anyone else noticed this or should I be concerned? Have you found a way around it like a microphone gain setting?
