Default Canon g5 lcd discolouration

Just bought myself my first digi-cam.......the canon g5....have had a day or two...been very imprssed with it so far....but have one question....have noticed on the lcd panel on the top of the camera...that there appears to be a discolouring area close to the front of the camera near the flash........how concerned should i be over this? Is this a common problem with the G3 & G5 cameras.....or just mine? Any help would be grreatly appreciated. Thanx!

Alright...never mind,,,the discolouration appears to have disappeared...must be from the heat of the flash unit....and as it cools is dissapears....which is a good thing.......after having just returned an olympus c-750 for a errant green pixel in the middle of the lcd....i do miss the zoom though....but this focuses so much better in low light...thanks to the af light...
