Default Installation problems for A70

I just bought a Canon A70 and haven't been able to install the Canon Solution Disk. Each time I try it says the following message: Error 1311. Sourse file not found:\SOFTWARE\PSTITCH\ENGLISH\Data1.cab. Verify the file exists and that you have access to it. I checked the CD and it has the file but in a Zip format. I'm using Windows XP. Please HELP! Thanks for suggestions or advice, Freddy

Problem was solved over the phone with Canon technical staff in about 10 minutes. Seems that I didn't have administrator rights to install and had to copy the CD to desktop to be able to open it from there starting with ZoomBrowser EX. Thanks for your help and suggestions, Freddy

seems that either your cd-rom drive is defect or the files are corrupted.
but what do you need the software for?
it's nearly useless, I think.

First off, you didn't mention which OS you were using. If you happen to be using Windows Me, there are some known issues. Do a search in the forum and you'll come accross some solutions.
Now, if you're not using Windows Me, there might be a problem witih the disc in which case, you can download the program from Canon's website. They'll have the absolute latest version and sometroubleshooting info too.
I hope that helps.
