I have a very new s5is and am trying to outfit myself with the right accessories on line as there are no camera shops anywhere near me so that I can take a look at things. I want to buy the wc-dc58a wide angle lens. I know I will need an adapter tube for it. Will I need any step up rings to make the attachments fit? And if so what size. Since thelens has a 58 thread diamater do I go with the same in the ring? What about filters, will they attach without more rings? Sorry if this is too simple but I need to know, it doesn't make sense buying one thing at a time.

thanks, madpie

madpie-

I would sincerely suggest you get the Lensmate adapter with the 58mm threads. I that way you can protect the lens extension tube and mount whichever Canon Accessory Lens you migh desire.
