Narrowed my choice dow to SD 870 IS and SD 750 :|

Both have 3x optical zoom, time lapse and stitch assist

SD 870 IS has IS. Is it worth the additional cost ?:?

SD 870 IS has 8MP SD 750 has 7.2 MP (no big deal)

SD 870 IS has a wider focal length len (28mm vs. 35mm) I like the 28mm.

Is there any other points of difference to take into consideration?:?

My current cameras use SD. These Canons use SD too (what is Multi Media memory chips) Does video require special memory chips? :?
