Congrats Cyber on the new addition to your family

Can't wait to see a pano from 3 28mm frames (horizontal and vericle, mp pre and post stitch).:|:|:|

I have been staring the SD100 IS~Under $200.00, opv, 2.5" lcd, does all the tricks I want.

Could the low price be due to zoom lens starting at 38mm (good for panorama sections).

I have some panoramas taken at a park near the Brooklyn Bridge in the Panasonic forum (with TZ-1 stitched with Panorama Maker 4 that came with my girl friends TZ-5).

Thanks for the info. I will be reading up on that. So far in good light the camera does great, same old crap with low light not the greatest photos no matter how I adjusted to compensate. I own a DSLR and am pretty familiar with setting up a camera so it wasn't operator error. I am going to go out Sunday and test the camera more.

Decided it was time to..........................................
or get off the pot !

I decided the Canon with the most bang for the buck was the SD1100is.
Saw it at Circuit City for $175.00 so I showed the price to the folks at Best Buy who had it for $199.00 so they matched the lower price. Will charge the battery and see what we can do with my new toy !
