Anzeige der Firmware der SX1
-> im März gibts neue Firmware, die auch RAW Aufnahmen macht.

einschalten mit Pfeil (Bildanzeige)
Taste FUNC SET und DISPLAY drücken

komplett (unten rechts):

auf SDHC-Karte "ver.req" schreiben

March: new firmware available (making RAW)

Hi DonalDuc,

I've seen all of your photos in this thread and they really amaze me. I've bought SX1 for a few weeks but our photos quality isnt as close as yours. There are so much noise and photos get incorrect focus area.

Could you please give me some tips for capturing people and scenery photos? My wife has been disappointed with this camera but I assured her that it can do better since viewing your photos.

I understand about focus point, apecture stuff but its really frustrating. Does the PORTRAIT mode ever produce good quality of people faces? Evaluative focus mode seems to equalize everything which lower people faces' quality (more noise, we need smoothness).

Thanks heaps,
Tien

I amusing (at all my cameras)ONLY P, A, S, M - no scene modus.

No RAWs. I invest time for making pictures, no time for postprocessing.

I hate/have no Photoshop & others, I only use (free) IrvanView.
