why buy unnecessary things ... since 2 month I'm using fisheye (heavy!), ringflash, lenses ... WITHOUT Lensmate.

Did the old threads about a SX1/10 adapter get deleted? I can't find my old posts. Anyway, it's good to see that they've come out with an adapter. I think I see how it works, which is clever, but I'm concerned about it rotating and falling off.....unless maybe it has rubber "threads" to help lock it in. Hopefully Canon's new long lens is strong enough to handle big attachments. I still prefer the old system where the adapter tube provided protection for the lens.

I have often screwed on and off my adapter ring 52mm / 58mm - there is no damage to see and it still works perfectly and flawlessly - see above.

Grüezi miteinand!

I'm using a cheap fisheye adapter for ~ 50 € (Jackar with 58mm thread). It works well and is usable for ALL cameras.

I think it is unneccessary to buy a "real" fisheye for € 799 suited only for one DSLR.

Look there - scroll down this page

Now price is a bit higher - but lens is available in Internet too.
