Have I missed something?

I'm looking for a small camera that shoots HD video. It must have a viewfinder. Seems strange that with all the "new" Canons announced, this is the only pocket sized HD video shooter that has a viewfinder.

Do you know of any other brands that have both HD video and a viewfinder?

This camera has a view finder but it is tiny so dont rely on it being of major use...

I have a Canon 1000 and the viewfinder is basically worthless. If you frame something in the VF, the picture comes out with the persons head chopped off etc. Pretty crappy.

Frankly, I'm so disappointed with Canon's offerings that I'm now looking at the Pany FZ28 for a viewfinder type field camera. It's large but light and I should be able to find a pocket for it.

You let me down, Canon.
