Default Pro-90 owners, newbie questions.

Hi,
Just bought a Canon Pro-90 for my first digicam, I got the software installed, charged the battery, snapped a few pictures in large, superfine, *.JPEG mode. I downloaded them, played with the brightness and contrast settings, compressed them to 25% size and emailed them to myself. Am still trying to figure out how to crop, and manipulate the other settings. I bought a 1gb CF card that shoud be comming soon, so I'll have a little more memory. Would appreciate any education anyone could give me on learning to use it more effectively, explain what all the settings do, tips or tricks, especially for shooting in low light, inside, outside, and macro etc... Would also appreciate links to any online resources teaching digital photography basics, since this is my first digicam. Thanks, JDBraddy

I'm sure it would be helpfull if the blinking thing would let me register, I've tried all afternoon without success. Have sent email to the moderator, he keeps telling me to change my privacy option to accept cookies, and I'v done that. It wtill won't let me past the privacy statement. JDBraddy.
