Default Canon A70 vs Sony DSC-P72

Hi... I'm deciding between a canon a70 and a sony dsc-p72. Anyone care to help on my decision? Cheers 8)

It's comparison of 6 3-MP digicams, the A70 and DSC-P52 among them. I don't know how much different the P52 and P72 are.

For me, it broke down like this between the P72 and the A70. The A70 just had better features and what I felt was superior images.
The A70 can be used as point and shoot, fully manual or, just about anything in between. A70 has an autofocus illuminator to help in low light focusing and, IMO better optics than the Sony. Add longer zoom than the P52 also. For the price, I felt the A70 was a better camera for me.
