On the underwater housing you used. Did the company that made it have any warranty?

thats a good point, it should be covered if it was a faulty product from a reputable company.

Yeah, as a scuba diver. I tend to use a dive camera and case. And the case is warranty against defects if the user apply the properly sealing step by clean off the o rings and light silicone grease.

A good way to check the case is to put a dollar bill have way into the case at different points. If it pulls out pretty easily with no grease. The case is defective.

I bought the housing used.
However, I since have submersed it in water and it was perfectly dry.
I guess I must have had some particles on the seal the first time.
I won't buy an underwater housing for the SX130 though, I'm done with underwater photography.

intova cameras for underwater photography, they come with a housing and are sub 200 dollars.

I actually might give it one more try.
I'm going to keep an eye on the bay for a used A630 <$100, before I totally give up on this housing and/or underwater photography.
