Default SX1-IS Exposure Bracket Problem

My SX1-IS factroy setting for Exposure Bracket is +/- 1. I would like to set it at +/-0.7. The manual says this can be done but the technique written will not work. Any help? Thanks, H. Weston

Give me a page number from the user guide. I can't find anything on exposure bracketing in mine! I'll then get back with you on what my SX1 IS does.

Okay, found it. They could have thrown "Bracketing" in the index, instead of just "AEB Mode"

What specifically is it doing (or not doing?)

What mode are you in when trying to make the adjustment? (Referring to page 300 as it says to at the top of the page, the AEB mode will not work in Auto and M modes.)

Mine seems to work okay. I've never used the feature before. I did note that when setting and adjusting the bracketing amount, both the [left-right] arrows work, AND rotating the wheel does the same.

Default Sx1-is ex.brkt.

Thank you very much. Problem solved[?]. Knowing from you that the bracket =/- did work, I reset to factory settings and my camera now works as it should. I was using"P"for the adustments which is OK. Thanks again.
