I believe the Canon SX130 IS is one of the best cams you can get for 199. 12 MP, 12x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, great 720P videos while zooming and much more. I bought this to replace my Kodak zi8 pocket hd cam since I also had to lug around my Sony point and shoot for stills. Now I have something that is all in one that produces better stills than my Sony and better hd videos than my Kodak. The only downfall isn't much of a downfall is that it's a bit bulkier than a pocket hd cam and it's best to buy rechargeable NiMH AA batteries.

some sample pix n vid i took with my canon at my friends wedding weeks ago.

Hi,

I nice shots. I am used to using .avi files.

Is there a free progam I can use to edit these .mov files on a PC?

Thanks!

If your OS is Windows 7 or Windows Vista you can download for free Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 here, http://explore.live.com/windows-live...maker?os=other. If you do not have Windows 7 or Vista, you can convert your .mov to .avi using some type of free converter. I don't really have any suggestions for that though. good luck!
