Default ALways bad pictures using powershot S30. Help!!

I don't know why but all my pictures are always too dark. I took pictures over and over for the past 3 months and they are always too dark. I end up always having to fix the pictures using Photoshop. What is wrong with my camera?

PS: I download the pictures using the software of Canon and I also tried ACDSee

You don't indicate how your using the camera. Auto, Program, Manual mode?

Are you too far away from the flash for it to be effective? More than 8 ft or so?

Do you have the exposure set too dark?

I found the solution: Reset all my setting.
