Default Can't find any s95 online?

I might be getting one and can't find any online. Do you know if its being replaced soon? Is it just can't make enough and fast kind of thing?

Thanks

The S95 recently replaced the S90 (I mean less than a year ago). Therefore, it is unlikely that the S95 is being replaced. It does seem unusual that it is not available from the usual sources such as Amazon, Adorama, etc.

There were a lot of sales over the holidays in the US putting the S95's price down as far as $299. It seems there have been a shortage of them since then.

I paid $369 right before christmas. That was from B&H. I thought that was a good deal. $299 is an incredible price.

Got mine at Adorama for 349.00. I'd be suspicious of a 299.00 price.
Who was the vendor selling at 299.00??

NewEgg was selling the S95 for $299 the week of 11/25. They also had it at $307 and $337 at other times between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

NewEgg is 100% reputable; they have a BBB rating of A+ and the 2nd largest online-only retailer in the world after Amazon.

Not only are they out, but the item is deactivated now meaning they may not restock it.

Considering NewEgg's sales figures, I would guess that they didn't make too much per camera but instead relied on bulk to make their money.
