Default Canon A70 CF capacity

I have a Canon A70 camera and I curently use a 256MB CF, but I want to know if this is the maximum capacity of a CF to use with, or it's possible to use a 512MB or 1Gb(!) CF.
Thanks everyone for your reply!

As long as you use a type I compact flash card there is no limit! You could use the new Lexar 2GB card if you wanted to!

I currently own an A70 and purchased a 512Mb compact flash card. It works fine. 512Mb CF card is more than enough space. I think I am able to take 250 photos at the highest quality setting.
