Cute. That's a neat tactic (embedding smiley images from a coupon site to increase page hits and search engine rankings).

You've now been banned and reported to antispam services; and I've setup filters to block all links to that coupon site, regardless of the member trying to post them. I've also removed your other posts here (3 other posts using the same tactic with a smiley embedded using a link to a coupon site).

How would one acquire said close up filter?

Just recently got this camera, would love to be able take some shots as beautiful as yours.

After googling that, I see its pretty expensive..
was looking at some lens kits on Amazon, this one in particular
http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Necess.../dp/B005C4Z4CI

Could you tell me if that is actually compatible with the Sx40 HS,
and if it would give the same detail with those hi-res lenses?
Also, It says it comes with the necessary filter adapter, Do I need that?
Some of the kits don't come with the adapter..

The Sx40 HS is a 24mm lens right? Does the 67mm lens still thread onto it?

So sorry for all the questions, Just dont want to order the kit if its not going to work.

Too bad the camera didn't come with paperwork to tell me all of this.

The filter adapter attachment for the SX40HS mounts to the outer of the lens barrel and is designed for use with 67mm filters. What looks like a 52mm thread on the end of the lens actually isn't- it's purely cosmetic- though one or two have actually managed to force on a 52mm filter- though not something I'd recommend...!

Yes faliiine- the kit you mention will work- though I couldn't vouch for the quality of the close up lenses- maybe just find the adapter on it's own and source out the lens/filter of your choice. There is also a 58mm version...
