Default Tcon 17

What would I need for an adaptor to attach a TCON 17 to a SX30IS ? I have the the tcon and and am considering a SX30 or a Fugi HS10/20.

Can't tell you about the SX30 but on the HS-10/20, all you'd need is a 55-58mm step-up ring. The TCON-17 is 55mm and the HS-10/20 being 58mm.

Thank you FYR I did pick that up over on the Fugi side about the 55/58 step up. Hope to get a reply soon on the Canon size. Now if I can just make up my mind.....ummm.

Are you aware that the SX40 has a digital teleconverter on board- a 1.5 and 2x setting..?
Before I hear you scream "but that's just a digital zoom.."- there's a twist- indeed it is digital(I think..!),but it multiplies from the START of the zoom. Thus you can have the equivalent of say 700mm(using 2x converter) whilst having the wider aperture available at the usual 350mm setting- allowing more light in,a faster shutter speed and potentially less chance of camera shake..! Good idea Canon...
