Default Need Help with my PowerShot A1000 IS

Hello - This is my first post on here. I'm asking for help since I can't find an answer in my user guide that came with my camera. My problem is this...I took a video of my son's first haircut at the barbers (so it's very important to me) and now I can't get the video to transfer to my computer like all my other pictures and video does. I get two different things...one saying that the current picture could not be copied when it is clearly not a picture and the second is when I click to see "the detailed error information" it says theres not enough storage available to complete this operation. Why?? The video is the only thing on my memory card.
Any help would be grateful!

Does the said video file playback on your camera ok..?
Are you uploading via a card reader or via the camera's usb hub/cable...?

Yes, the video does play on my camera with the card installed (I thought at one point I might have recorded on the camera's internal drive) but I did not. I am uploading by USB cable like I have all the other times mainly because it doesn't do anything if I just pop in the card...it only will transfer by cable.

If you put your card in your card reader and then go into "my computer" and look for the appropriate "removable disk" (card)- can you not open and send the folder/files to "my documents"..?

I'm assuming,of course, that you have enough space left on your computer's hard drive...
