Default New member A80 Redeye question

Hi, just reading a bunch of stuff on this forum, but I though I would just ask about my main complaint with my A80. It shoots darn nice pics, but especially indoors I get terrible Red Eye. I know this has a lot to do with the flash location, but is there any way to minimize it? Also what program is the best for editing it out.. I have not had much success getting rid of it before printing.

Thanks!!

Eric

Here is a long discussion about that in this forum. You might find it helpful:

And here is an article about the red eye phenomenon with helpful tips on its reduction and editing:

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. That info did help. Basicly I figured I was just stuck with it, and I probalby am.. but will try some of the tips. Mine is really bad.

Can any of you recommend a quick effective editing program. Right now I have adobe photoshop 7 and arcsoft photoimpression 4.

Thanks for the help!
