Hi Rob,

How is the purple frining problem with Pro 1 compare to Sony F828, in your fair opinion?

Thanks.

I have taken nearly 300 shots with the Pro1 and so far have not seen a hint of CA.

John,

The shots posted were jpg's (using adobe RGB colour space). I have started to play around with RAW using the new RAW Image Task in ZB 4.6 (as BB and PS RAW don't yet support the Pro1). Have found it has a very good noise reduction which helps in the higher ISO shots. I think I will only use RAW for specific purposes (ie high ISO) as you can only get 50 shots on a 512mb card.. Also a 16bit TIF from the RAW conversion is about 46mb...

Regarding the Purple Fringing issue I have found a free PS plugin that was developed for the Sony F828 that is worth a look.
