photos taken with the Close-up Lens 250D for a G3 or G5. I would like to know what sort of photos one can use this lens for and if it worth buying.

I hope my reply isn't the first since May! My advice...(free, so you know what it's worth) is first experiment with the macro setting on the camera. Check the manual, too. If macro doesn't give you enough close-up then you have 2 options. One is a series of close-up lenses that get you progressively closer to where you want to be or, get one close-up lens. Flowers, bugs, butterflies, leaves, you need to figure out what you want...this is why most of us have a ton of stuff and buy even more because we never know when we will need it.
