Hey all--

My S400 just went out of commission because the J-shaped latch on the CF door snapped. Thankfully, I found the plastic shrapnel so I can repair it with some superglue. I lost the CF door on my old S110 too!

I was about to write Canon and complain/suggest a very sensible metal CF (and battery) door on the otherwise robust chassis of the Elphs. But, before I do, have they already implemented this on the S500 (and/or S410)?

Thank ya--I'd just hate to sound like I don't know what I'm talkin about--
