Step 1: thomasdistributing.com MAHA Charger

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Step 2: 2300mAh batteries

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Step 3: Charge/Use

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"and repeat. . .

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"My battery life problem was painful until I got it together and bought a good charger and some 2300 batteries. Makes all the difference. Especially when you got a GREAT battery life indicator like the ones that come with all of our Canon's. :lol:

Are you using flash? Flash can kill batteries... I haven't run into any battery issues so far... but I don't shoot a lot in a row...

Nobody complain about Canon S1 Movie mode :?:

You can record only 15 minutes of movie with 2100 mAh batteries. i.e. 2 GB movies in one go. If you are lucky, you can finish the second movie. With 5-6 mts of your 2nd movie, it'll give you a battery warning.

So how many batteries does the S1IS take? If battery capacity becomes an issue, then I'd just go get the highest capacity batteries that I could find, and then get say 2 chargers so that you always have two sets of charged-up batteries. Just pop in another charged set whenever needed.

I'm very much happy with the number of photos it can take. I get more than 200.

If you are taking regarding the movie, buying another set won't help as S1 heats up if you record 2GB continously. These are some hidden facts :sad:
