I just purchased an S60 (to arrive in a couple of days). This camera is power by the new NB-2LH (7.4v, 720 mAh) and at this moment there are no comparable batterieson the market. I purchased an Energizer ER-D120 (as used in S50) as my backup battery (7.4v, 580 mAh). Do you think the Energizer will create any problems (other than taking fewer photos) for my S60?

Personally, I dont think it doesn't doany harm to the camera if you use a reliable battery company such as Energizerand Duracell. I have an old Sony camcorder, and I use Energizer and Duracell batteries instead of the small-capacity stockbatteries. I have not experienced any problems with those batteries. Well, this is a camcorder. I dontthink there will be such a big differencce between the battery usage of camcorder and digital camera. But note that no company recommends using different company's batteries.

I have an S60 also, and I cannot find a comparable replacement to the NB-2LH. I cannot even find a store that sells genuine Canon brand NB-2LH replacement batteries. Does anyone know of one?
