I've noticed a quirk with my A80 and I would like to know if it might be true of all A80s. After I shoot a picture, it lingers on the lcd for about 5 seconds (I set it up this way) and then the lcd reverts to what the lens isaimed at. If, during those 5 seconds, I hit the function button, I am given the option of deleting it. If I chose to cancel the deletion, the picture remains and the lcd does not revert. I have to either switch toplayback mode and then back to shooting mode again or power off and then on again.

Thanks for any replies.

Found somewhere in the manual: "If you press the set button while the image is displayed on the LCD monitor (which you do to cancel a delete), it will continue to display..... Press the shutter button halfway again to stop displaying it." I tried it and it works.
