Question for s410 owners:

Are settings chosen in manual mode maintained/saveable after powering down the camera? For example, could one keep the long shutter speed on after turning the camera off and then on again, or would one have to siphon through the menus each time the camera is turned off and on again?

yes, long shutter, iso and flash settings all come back, after powering off, unlike some other cameras, which I replaced with this one. Specified white balance doesn't, but that doesn't really matter.
