This question was asked a long time ago by another user, but to the best of my knowledge was never answered. Has anyone been able to determine the bit depth (10 bit, 12 bit, 14 bit or 16per color channel) of the Pro 1? Based on the file sizes of the RAW files, compared to the Canon 10D and G5 I would estimate that it is more than 12 bit, but it is not found in the Canon information or any of the reviews that I've found.

A higher bit depth should result in a greater dynamic range in RAW (but it might not).

Thanks
