I'm looking for a good point and shoot camera with manual controls for when I feel more audacious. I admit that the majority of my shots will be done using the auto mode, but there are times when I really want to get technical and go into the settings. Which of these 3 cameras would you recommend:

A80, S60, or S500?

Does the S60/S500's higher resolution will justify a price increase of $120?

Thanks!

Btw, do you guys know Best Buy's return policy? I'd like to be able to test them out before ordering online.

I just got a s60 the other day. totally amzing camera.. for more info on it check out:

The picture in the site you quote looks different to the S60s I've seen.:?

http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/pss60/components-e.html which is part of the same site looks the same to me. exactly the same as my UK one.
