Has anyone heard whether the sucessor to the Canon S1 IS will be a S2?

Athough the Canon S1 IS is a great camera, there have been several minor issues which hopefully Canon will address in the follow-on version.

So anyone heard of a coming S2 or something similiar?

is anything wrong about s1is? except the 3.2 mp ccd andthe lcd ?

man, canon wasted a lot of energy to make a 3.2 mp cam... it should at least have a

5 mega pixel ccd. don't you think so?

You DO realize that the amount of megapixels doesn't really mean better quality photos, right? Unless you're planning on making large prints, 3.2Mp is more than enough. Don't let corporate marketing make you believe you need something you'll never use!

I am not really concerned with the MP as I am with the overal quality of the pics and lack of focusing at times.

It changed to optical 12x. It's surely not problem, but upgraded.

Thinking problem fixed, S1 uses USB 1.1 but S2 USB 2.0, sothe transfer of the data camera to PCis fastert than before.
