Steves is saying in his review the old LA-DC58B lensadapter can be attached to the G6. But the canon brochure (site) says the G6 should be used with the new LA-DC58D lensadapter. My question to Steve is: can the LA-DC58B be attached to the G6? I know the G6lens is the same as the G3 and G5. So why produce a new lensadapter?

I've got the G3 and LA-DC58B. My next digicam will be the G6, but I don't want to buy a new lensadapter, because in the Netherlands it's quite expensive.

The LA-DC58Bconversion lens adapter IS the one used for the G6. Look at the link i have posted. It has a list of accessories, there was nothing about a new LA-DC58D conversion lens adapter. So the answer to your question is Yes. Hope this helps.
