Default Sony P7 vs Canon S30

I have been comparing SONY P7 and Canon S30. Before I decide, I need to confirm if the P7 has problem with colour and tone as I heard. Does anyone know? I also presume that the Canon lens is better than the Sony lens. Is this correct?

I like Sony for their camcorder and InfoLithium batteries. I like Sony TVs. BUT I like Canon cameras. I'm very pleased with my S30 + S820 printer. I have Elan (35mm camera) and I've very happy with the quality as well. One gripe... Canon flash on both of my cameras tend to over expose at close range, although it can be adjusted. I don't know if this will help you... Good luck!
