I was doing some stll-life shots in low lilght. I wanted good depth of focus and so was using aperture priorty on a small setting.

I was dismayed to find that my Powershot Pro 1 would not give anything longer than one second.

Does this mean my camera is faulty, or is this an inherent design limitation?

I just tried out my Pro 1 and it works the same way. However you can put it in manual mode and get exposures up to 15 seconds on the same low aperture.

Thanks for the reply Aussie Dave. Must be a design thing. Does manual give only 15 seconds? I didn't know that.
