Hi -

We just got our A400 yesterday and we're playing and learning. We have a question about the Battery Status Indications.

I know page 18 of theinstruction manual says the icon will display whenthe LCD monitor is off, and you press certain buttons (either the omni selector, DISP or FUNC) .

However, when I do that, I don't see a Battery Status Indicator Icon.

Will it only work when my batteries are low???

Thanks

You will not miss the symbol when the battery is low for it will give you the

battery symbol in a flashing mode. Even when you are reviewing photos you have

taken, you will see the symbol flashing as you are looking at photo on the LCD monitor. Yes you only see the symbol when batteries are low...Have fun with your Canon A400:|PS When the batteries are really low it will say on your LCD monitor--- Change the batteries.
