Hi All, would liek to consider S1 IS, but read thru here that the picture is too soft, and i also viewed the sample photos, find that is rather soft(not sharp). Anyway to recover the sharpness? Set the sharpness level in camera to make it sharper? :?

Yeah... you can try boosting the sharpness in-camera or using software... but the soft pics is one of the flaws with this camera...

thks, siva.

Though suggested to use the in-camera sharpness level adjustment, but is the image end result still not sharp enough(little soft) after adjusted to max, compare to other normal digicam(let say fz3, C770, Z3, sony717)? thks.

I can't accept that a camera that is not sharp enough, which i suffer from my previous lower end d-cam, and not wish to edit the sharpness level through software(troublesome) . THKS!

thks, picture looks good! But did youchange any sharpness level in camera to achieve these? Or just leave it original setting? thks.
