For only £4.99 I bought a "Divided" leather Zip up Wallett from the clothing store H and M.

Its' code is 240683943510902406890000096.

It fits the Ixus 40 (sd 300) as snug as a bug in a rug and looks good too.

It could have been made to measure!

Attached is a pic of it zipped up with the Ius 40 in situ.

Hi Ossettboy, can you give me your opinion about the quality of the pictures taken with the Ixus 40. I would like to buy it but I read that the quality is not very good. What do you think? Thank you

Hello

The picture quality is very good, much better than almost every ultra compact I have tested/ seen.

The noise is low. Please do not worry about allegations of blurry corners, neither myself or anyone else who has actually bought one and reported on the forums has really noticed this.

There is a bit of purple fringing, but this is apparent even on the older s500 cameras. It might be slightly worse on this camera, but yo are not going to notice it.

Other than that, the pictures blow the competition out of the water in my opinion. Only other cam I would consider is Panasonic FX7.

See my pictures posted on www.ballofdirt.com. Search for me (paul holmes), then click on my journals. View the shots original size, and tell me what you think.

Everyone I have seen who has bought an sd300 has been VERY happy with it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pic of the wallet but I note it has a metal zip. Does that scratch the Ixus 40 ?
