Does anyone have an example photo taken with an S1 IS and CrystalVue LX? I'm wondering how much vignetting exists (the bugeyedigital site says 'some').

See this thread in this forum"Extreme teephoto with the CanonS1":http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=15

This is with the crystalvue 8x32 spotterscope and the Canon S1; if you start with the camera's zoom at around 10X there is hardly any vignetting; as you can see the magnification is really awsome.

samcheri - yes, i saw your original thread. That's what got me interested inthe LX. I may try it out. I assume I just need the lens adapter and a 52-37 step-down ring?

It is quite difficult to find a 52-37 step-down ring, although you may be luckier than me; at least two rings (possibly 52-49 or 460 and then down to 37 may be required;

Good luck and post some pictures when you get your lens

Cheers
