Can someone tell me a couple of things I'd like to understand?

a simple way to stop the snow falling midair

and another to let the snow blurr

Same with running water, water falls etc

I really like the quality of the G6 photos !

Also is there a way to lesson the flash strength?

THANKS

Chris

If you want to stop motion, you need to set the shutter speed fast. If you want to blur the motion, you want to keep the shutter open longer. Note that the faster or slower the shutter speeds will alter the amount of light allowed to enter the lens. So you will want to play around with the f-stop a little to get the right light.

This is very easy with the G6. Have fun.

To stop action with your G6use the following settings:

- Highest resolution/best quality

- Set Mode Dial to Tv (shutter speed priority). Try settings of 1/250, 1/500 or 1/1000.

- Use High Speed Continuous Mode

- Use Focus Lock

- Use a tripod
