Read on dcresourse.com that at least you wont need to buy a fast card. So any should probably do.

I have the older model, the Canon A80. It's awesome. I would pick up 1 or 2 256mb cards, SanDisk is what I use, haven't had a problem yet. At Superfine I can take over 100 picks on a 256mb, I don't have much need for anything else. Circuit City was running a special, $19.99 after rebates, I believe now though it's $29.99 after rebates, still not a bad deal.

I suggest also a battery charger, I just picked up a Maha 401 from Thomas Distributing, they have some great specials now, with combo deals including 2300mh AA batteries. Purchasing non-rechargables is pointless, themoney you will spendwill make you .

Also, get a flash card reader, I found one at Circuit City, a dazzle flash card reader, on special 50% off. Came out to $10 bucks.

www.newegg.com, great service and low prices. Use a Dane-Elec 256 and its the same speed as the canon flash card that came with my A85. Its only 17.99 and works great. Try their 512 those also run for a great price.

There is hardly any difference between fast cf prices and regular cf maybe (in the UK) as much as £10 for the bigger ones, but it does decrease save time a little.

Hope this helps
