Yesterday I bought my new sd300
very fast and small , the image quality is really excellent because it has UA lens and DiGiC II processor, I like macro , kids and pets , under water modes
the video quality is excellent too

I think it is better than s500 and may be same or better than sd20

Any tips for me ?:|

Read careful the manual and play with the camera in all settings before take same important picture. Because the camera doesn't show speed and aperture go to the site and pick this free little program to read the settings as speed, aperture. In manual mode the camera take picture in slow shutter in dim conditions = blurred picture, in auto, seam conditions = normal picture…Scene kids & pets = fast shutter speed.
Have fun! :-)
