Hi everybody

I'm writing from Argentina.

I have just bought a new A95 from B&h and it´s coming on sunday.

I'm absolutely new to digital photography. I dont know much about traditional photography either.

Can you tell me about a basic photography bookI should read ???

Are there any basic tips you can help me with ??

Best regards

PS: hope you'll forgive my lousy english

I don't know of any good book you should read except that you should read the entire manual.... and practice a lot trying to take many pictures in different situations... I also suggest you don't stick to Auto mode.... At least go into P mode and set the ISO to what suits you best(usually ISO 50 is recommended since it has less noise). Slowly try to experiment the manual modes of the camera.

The A95 is a great little camera, I own it and am most pleased with it.

If you use 'google.com', just look up words like 'basic photography techniques' or 'basic photography lessons' etc. You can learn a lot from the internet.

Hi.

I'm about to get a A95 too, and will be taking up photography too. Check out www.morguefile.com and click on classroom, it seems to have some great lessons with the chance to post and discuss the photos you've taken.

Mart.
