I recently was convinced to upgrade from my Kodak CX 7430 to the Canon A95 as it would solve the graininess I find I have in pictures where there are blue skies...Developed my first set of pictures and still have the same problem. I had the settings in P, Auto ISO and the lighting set to daylight. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Still pretty new to this so any help is greatly appreciated

Usually noise is due to high ISO settings... try shooting at a low ISO (say ISO 50 or whatever the camera supports) and see if you still get the grain...

yea, while in P mode, set ISO to 50. That said, there's software that will help you get rid of graininess. Try ISo 50 first.

You can also try setting the white balance to Cloudy, and you will get better colours in your skies.

Then try placing your sunglasses in front of the camera lens !!!!!!
