Default S230 vs C50, QV-R4, F100.... comparison shots!!!

The C50 has some very nice color. I am picking up my S230 tomorrow, I will post some pictures up once I get it going.

yes, I agree the C-50 pics look great....
We must keep in mind, though, that there is (in Canada) a $300 difference in price between the two. Therefore your decision to go with the S230 still seems like a sound one. The 230 pics, albeit less zoom, are still great for a camera of that size. Colors are very natural and picture is quite clear. Let me know how you make out with your new purchase. Good luck.

Default S230 v. C-50z

After seeing those pics I think I am going to go with the S230. The C-50z pics seems fuzzy and grainy almost.

It almost seems like the extra pixels don't mean much.

Please let me know how your S230 experiance goes. I want to get my new cam before thanksgiving.

I think your making a good choice. Especially if ease of use, portability and reputation are important to you.
Like everyone in this forum will probably tell you....."You can't go wrong with Canon". :shock: :roll:

Are the Olys known to be of inferior quality to the canons?
