Hello. I recently purchased a Canon A400 from Target. I tend to use it mainly in the manual mode, as I am a beginner and I heard that manual mode gives you the most control over the camera which is useful if you want to learn photography. The A400 does not have manual focus however.

The problem that I am having is that a lot of my photographs appear to be coming out rather fuzzy indoors. This particularly happens with the flash on, and even more if the flash is off but there is natural light coming through a window (if that makes any sense). I make sure I hold the camera extra steady. I tried to play around with the settings to see if that changed anything, but it actually made it worse. Is this just a problem with low-end cheap cameras like this, or am I doing something wrong?
