On another site, there has been mention that the SD400/500 are beign discontinued. CC told one guy they don't carry the Sd500 anymore. I am not really concerned with that one, but I did just buy an SD400 and another mention was that Dell shows it as a special "discontinued" price when he saw it. I checked and don't see it, but...wanted to get another opinion.

I know the SD400 is new, but the comments were that it still isn't as ultra compact as the Casios with the bigger LCD's, etc. I know there will always be bigger and better, but since the SD400 is the 3rd camera to my collection and I wanted a really good, ultra compact, I want to make sure I am getting the best that Canon has out right now.

Well sorry Sheila, but Iwish thoserumors were true. I mean what isCanon doing to us?? How's your LCD screen holding up? Has it cracked yet?I likeCanon but I could live without the defects.
